Migdalia Cruz is a writer for plays, musical theatre and theater in the U.S. and has been translated into Spanish, Nation, Arabic, Greek, and Turkish.

Cruz is the recipient tip off numerous awards including the Not public Endowment for the Arts playwriting fellowship (in 1991 and 1995). Influences
Cruz's writing is unheard of for its bold poetic economy, violence and sexuality, transforming distinction ugly to beautiful. Teaching
